Updates, backups, monitoring and support are scoped to your architecture. The proposal specifies responsibilities, priorities, exclusions and applicable response times.
Look after your website after launch. Editorial illustration.
Website maintenance assigns responsibility for versions, backups, alerts, incidents and support requests. The contract specifies what is monitored, how often and through which procedure, without eliminating every risk.

We define what needs backing up, where copies are stored and how to restore the website. The setup depends on your architecture and how frequently you make updates.
Content to protect
Files, content and databases according to your website’s components.
An appropriate history
Backup frequency and retention period defined for your needs.
A planned recovery
Restoration access, steps and checks specified within the agreed scope.
Why maintenance matters
5 risks to make visible.
These scenarios are possible, not inevitable. The initial assessment identifies those that actually concern your website.

Unmonitored component
→ A vulnerability or incompatibility may remain unaddressed.
Untested update
→ A change may cause a visible error or a functional regression.
Unverified backup
→ Restoration may be incomplete or take longer than expected.
Gradual deterioration
→ Loading, errors or the user journey may change without being detected.
Unclear responsibilities
→ An alert may lack an owner, decision or explicit response time.

Frequently asked questions
All about maintenance.
Why formalise website maintenance?
A contract assigns responsibility for versions, backups, alerts and incidents. It does not eliminate risk, but specifies what is monitored, how decisions are made and what is excluded. Measurements of web performance and the consent system must be reviewed against the website’s actual state.
How much does website maintenance cost in Brussels?
Kanexio’s stated starting prices are €85 excluding VAT per month for Essential, €180 excluding VAT per month for Performance and from €380 excluding VAT per month for Premium. They illustrate different scope levels. The quotation confirms components, frequency, backups, support, third-party services and applicable conditions.
How often are backups made?
There is no universal frequency. It depends on how often content and data change, how critical the service is and the acceptable recovery point. The contract specifies frequency, destination, retention, responsibilities and the testing or restoration procedure.
What happens if my website goes down?
The procedure depends on the signals actually monitored and the agreed priority level. The contract identifies the alert channel, the person responsible for assessment, the applicable response time, required access, restoration options and planned communication. No resolution time is assumed outside this framework.
Does the contract involve a long-term commitment?
Duration, renewal, notice, exit conditions and handover items are those in the accepted proposal. They are presented before signature. This page does not replace those contractual terms.
Does maintenance cover new features?
Maintenance covers only the defined work and volume. A new page, redesign, feature or integration may require a separate quotation. The contract specifies the distinction between corrections, editorial assistance and development work.
Do you work with CMSs other than WordPress?
WordPress, Shopify, Astro, Next.js, Webflow or an HTML/CSS site can be assessed. Acceptance depends on architecture, hosting, access, dependencies and the ability to reproduce and test the website. The scope is confirmed after the initial assessment.
