Logo & brand guidelines

A logo connected to your positioning and uses

The proposal distinguishes the symbol, its variations, graphic rules, formats, licences and materials covered. No lifespan is promised without considering how the brand actually evolves.

Our belief

Assess a logo against explicit criteria

The visual guide

Look at the logo in its actual uses

  • Legible

The symbol and name remain clear in the intended format.

  • Reproducible

Variations meet the requirements of web and print.

  • Distinctive

Design choices are discussed in relation to other identities.

  • Consistent

The design supports the positioning and planned materials.

These criteria complement personal taste. The guidelines document the agreed rules.

Personal taste is part of the decision, but is not enough on its own. Legibility, reproduction, distinctiveness, consistency with positioning and suitability for different materials provide criteria the team can discuss and document.

The brief addresses audiences, needs, promises and evidence before typographic, colour and design choices. The format and depth of this work are specified in the quote.

The guidelines bring together useful rules: colours, typography, clear space, iconography and application examples. They do not ensure future consistency on their own, but give everyone producing materials a shared reference. See also the principles for building a brand identity.

FAQ

Your questions about logos and brand guidelines

How much does a Kanexio logo and brand guidelines project cost?▾

Kanexio’s indicative ranges are €1 800 to €3 200 excluding VAT for a defined logo scope, €4 800 to €8 500 excluding VAT for a logo with guidelines and templates, and €6 200 to €12 800 excluding VAT for an extended Brand Sprint. These amounts are indicative. The quote confirms the concepts, revisions, deliverables, rights, schedule and terms.

How many logo concepts do you propose?▾

The number of concepts and revision rounds is defined in the proposal. Each agreed concept is explained in relation to the positioning and uses. Selection criteria and the approval process are agreed before the presentation.

Why not a ‘modern, colourful, fun’ logo?▾

That can work, depending on the positioning, audiences and contexts of use. No style is ruled out on principle. Choices are assessed against explicit criteria rather than an assumed trend.

Who owns the rights to the delivered logo?▾

The contract specifies the rights transferred or licensed, their territory and duration, the files supplied, third-party components and payment terms. Portfolio use and any registration steps are also defined; no rights beyond the contract are assumed.
