This policy explains the processing identifiable on Kanexio’s public website. It does not turn a technical setting into legal certification. When processing or a provider changes, this page and the internal register must be updated together.

Data processed

The visual guide

Why is data processed on the website?

  • Your enquiry

The information you provide to prepare a conversation.

  • Security

Technical elements needed for checks against abuse.

  • Measurement and choices

Traffic data and your consent choice stored locally in the browser.

The bases used, providers, retention periods and your rights are detailed in the following sections.

Contact enquiry

The form asks for a name, email address, phone number, optional subject and message. Do not include sensitive data unnecessary for the enquiry.

Security and abuse prevention

Form processing may use the IP address, country inferred by the infrastructure, user agent, referring page, timestamp, email address domain, a Turnstile token and anti-spam indicators. Submissions and their status may be recorded in the operational dashboard, including when classified as abusive.

Audience measurement and preferences

Ahrefs Web Analytics produces aggregated trends according to its provider’s statements. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 are configured with consent states. Depending on the active mode and settings, cookieless signals may still be transmitted when storage is denied. Your preference is stored locally in the browser.

Purposes and bases used

  • Responding to an enquiry and preparing a possible service: pre-contractual steps taken at your request or a legitimate interest in responding to contact.
  • Performing a service and meeting the resulting obligations: the contract and applicable legal obligations.
  • Protecting the form, limiting abuse and retaining technical evidence: a legitimate interest in securing the service, subject to individuals’ rights and freedoms.
  • Measurement and advertising: consent where required. Google Consent Mode is not itself a legal basis.

Recipients and providers

Internal access is limited to people who need to handle the enquiry, administer the website or ensure its security. Depending on the feature used, data may pass through:

  • Cloudflare: network, Worker, operational storage, rate limiting and Turnstile where configured.
  • Kanexio infrastructure and dashboard: submission history and operational monitoring.
  • Resend and recipient email providers: transmission of the enquiry and acknowledgement of receipt.
  • Ahrefs: aggregated measurement stated to use no cookies or persistent identifiers by default.
  • Google: tag management and measurement according to consent and the settings published in the container.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. The transfer mechanism, processors and safeguards must be checked in the provider’s current contracts and documents.

Retention periods and criteria

  • The form’s technical rate-limiting counters expire after approximately one minute, one hour or twenty-four hours, depending on the check.
  • An enquiry is retained while it is handled and followed up, then only as long as necessary for a contractual relationship, a legal obligation, evidence of an exchange or management of a dispute.
  • Entries classified as abusive are retained for the period necessary for security and incident analysis.
  • Banner preferences remain in your browser until deleted or changed.
  • Retention periods specific to measurement tools depend on account settings and each provider’s terms.

A more precise period can be communicated for a particular processing activity. These criteria must not be understood to permit unlimited retention.

Your rights

Under the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or data portability, and withdraw consent for the future. These rights do not all apply automatically to every processing activity.

Write to ask@kanexio.com, specifying your request and the information needed to locate the exchange. Proof of identity may be requested only where necessary to avoid disclosure to the wrong person.

Complaint

You may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Bruxelles.

Security and limitations

Kanexio implements technical and organisational controls proportionate to the service. However, no connected system can guarantee absolute security. A confirmed incident is handled according to applicable obligations.
