Anatomy

6 pillars to define
for your e-commerce store.

The visual guide

From finding a product to tracking an order

  1. Find

Catalogue, filters and search give access to products.

  2. Choose

  3. Order

Basket and payment form a consistent journey.

  4. Follow up

Messages and order status continue the journey.

Frequently asked questions

Questions to define the scope.

How much does a professional e-commerce website cost in Brussels?
Kanexio’s indicative prices start at €8,500 excluding VAT for a defined scope, range from €12,000 to €22,000 excluding VAT for a store with more content or integrations, and start at €30,000 excluding VAT for a complex project. These amounts are indicative. The quotation confirms the catalogue, languages, payments, integrations, third-party services and applicable conditions.
How long does it take to deliver an online store?
The timeline depends on the catalogue, content, delivery rules, payments, integrations and pace of approvals. Kanexio’s proposal sets the milestones and intended launch date. Only the accepted schedule is binding on the parties.
WooCommerce, Shopify or custom development: which platform should we choose?
The choice depends on administration needs, catalogue, integrations, recurring costs and in-house skills. WooCommerce, Shopify and a custom architecture involve different responsibilities. The recommendation follows scoping, without presenting any platform as universally better.
Which payment methods are integrated?
Bancontact, cards, digital wallets, bank transfers or payment on account can be considered according to the market and chosen payment provider. The proposal specifies integrated methods, third-party fees, testing and responsibilities. Kanexio does not present the entire website as certified simply because a particular provider is used.
How can I reduce basket abandonment in my store?
Start by measuring where users leave the journey. Clear fees, guest checkout, payment methods and the number of steps can then be tested for your store. Follow-up messages require data and consent scoping. No recovery rate is assumed.
Will the website be optimised for Google Shopping?
A product feed, required attributes, relevant structured data and a sitemap can be included in the scope. Their configuration does not guarantee platform approval, ad delivery or advertising performance. Advertising and campaign optimisation remain separate services.
Will I own the website, and can I migrate if needed?
The quotation and contract distinguish client content and data, accounts, platform licences, third-party components and code produced for the assignment. They specify available export formats, handover conditions and any migration limitations.

See also: a conversion rate optimisation (CRO) approach tests ways to reduce basket abandonment one at a time, to establish what actually works for your store.
