SEO fundamentals: understand and make better decisions
A two-day format covering crawling, indexing, query research, page optimisation and interpreting Search Console. Exercises are adapted to the access and data actually available.
Junior marketers, SME leaders and independent professionals who want to understand
At a glance: this training explains how Google crawls and indexes a website, how to connect a query to a page, and how to measure the effects in Search Console. It aims for better decisions, not a guaranteed ranking.
The training is for people who need to understand SEO reports, challenge a recommendation or organise an initial action plan, without becoming specialists in two days.
It is particularly suited to marketing managers, SME leaders, independent professionals and team members coordinating a provider. The precise content depends on the website, priorities and starting level.
Prerequisites: knowing how to use a browser and, where possible, having access to the website and Search Console. Required licences, access, equipment and data are confirmed before the session.

-

Module 1 · Crawling, indexing and Google results
How crawling and indexing work in general, useful content, links, page experience and interpreting Search Console. Official Google documentation provides the reference, without claiming to summarise the algorithm.
Module 2 · Keyword research with Ahrefs
Methodology: commercial, informational and transactional queries, estimated demand, competition and intent. The exercise produces an initial selection to validate, without an artificial quota.
Module 3 · Hub-and-spoke architecture
How to group topics, define useful pages and organise coherent internal linking. The number of pages depends on the editorial material and the audience’s needs.
Module 4 · On-page optimisation
Title, meta description, H1, heading structure, relevant structured data, text alternatives and internal linking. The workshop covers pages accessible during the session.
Module 5 · Ethical link building in Belgium
Backlink sources relevant to the Belgian market: trade press, directories and partnerships. Practices to avoid: private blog networks and bulk buying. How to assess a referring domain’s quality.
Module 6 · Monthly monitoring and iteration
Interpreting Search Console, relating it to available conversion data and tracking changes. A realistic cadence is set around the team’s resources.

Your questions about the training
Who delivers the training?▾
The proposal identifies the trainer responsible for the session. When Hani Kanaftchian delivers it, he does so as Kanexio’s founder. No undocumented client result is used as evidence of expertise.
How does it differ from OpenClassrooms / LinkedIn Learning?▾
An online course suits independent learning. This training adds live discussion and exercises on a case agreed in advance. The practical component and post-training support depend on the format set out in the proposal.
Is public funding available?▾
Schemes, conditions, eligible providers and rates can vary by region and date. Kanexio therefore does not present any reimbursement as guaranteed. Check the eligibility of the company, course and provider with the relevant authority before registering.
If I prefer to outsource after training, can you take over?▾
Yes, a separate SEO assignment can be scoped after training. See our SEO approach. The division of tasks between your team and Kanexio is specified in a separate proposal.
