01 · The context
Keeping the experience alive between events.
Sound of Silence combines electronic music, live performance and stage design. The English-language website brings this identity together in a journey from the atmosphere of the event to artists, media and practical information.
The programme also needs to remain clear over time. The Birmingham Palace and IKON Antwerp editions are presented as archives. The website states that the next edition has not yet been confirmed and offers a sign-up for announcements.
02 · The design choices
An identity that starts
with the client’s craft.
An opening driven by movement
The first screen combines edited video, monumental typography and a dark palette with violet accents. The opening sequence is framed for both mobile and desktop.
A reading rhythm inspired by the stage
Numbered chapters and large headings structure the journey. Moving from the experience to the line-up, then to media and the agenda, gives each section a clear purpose.
The artists at the centre
The line-up presents Andre Soueid, Belben, Blossom Culture, Sir-J and Bilal Santiago. Portraits and names form an instantly recognisable editorial gallery.
